The Sunnyland Antique and Classic Boat Festival is held on Friday March 22 and Saturday March 23 located at: 123 South Joanna Ave, Tavares Florida 32778
Feather Crafters start gathering around Monday March 16 and will be doing group cruises in the Tavares/Harris Chain of Lakes area. We also drive to day cruises such as Crescent Lake and other locations on the St. John's River.
The highlight cruise of this get together is a day cruise cruising down the Ocklawaha River to the Silver River, then on to Silver Springs. Pack a lunch for this one. We start early to get back early as the Haines Creek Lock's last call in 6:30PM. We also will be going through the Moss Bluff Lock on the Ocklawaha.
Everyone is on their own as far as accommodations, meals, transportation, etc. We usually get together for our evening meals at a local restaurant.
Our main boat ramp/meeting place is Summerall Park, a free public boat ramp at 1001 Wells Ave, Tavares, FL 32778
There is a second and larger boat ramp, the Tavares Boat Ramp on the Lake Eustic end of the Dora Canal. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Tavares+Boat+Rampemail@example.com,-81.766346,14z/data=!4m12!1m6!3m5!1s0x88e7bd819d77ce15:0xabe19bfb58769df9!2sSummerall+Park!8m2!3d28.7978268!4d-81.7375068!3m4!1s0x0:0x65cadfa79bd5a792!8m2!3d28.8123029!4d-81.7469931
