John if you remember when we were in Florida for the liars club meet I told you one of your tires looked funny going down the road I'm glad you changed that one on the spot it wouldn't have made it back to your house

They can look good but how old is it. It’s one thing most of us do not think about. Also under inflated tires are the best way to have a tire blow out. Some set ups the tire can look as good at 20 lbs as it does at the recommended 60 lbs or more

Yes I see, it's just that one spot, the rest of the tire is perfectly good.

Dan, It was my Vagabond trailer. I would have replaced that tire sooner if I was aware of the problem. Other than that one spot the rest of the tire is in good shape regarding the remaining tread.

Very lucky John. Even luckier you did not have the issue on the Arrowhead trip.

Yesterday I drove 100 miles, one way, to attend our AOMCI's final meet of the year. When I got home as I was pushing my boat and trailer into its parking place I noticed what looked like a piece of the tire had come off. After removing the wheel and tire, sure enough, a partial delamination had occurred. I had forgotten to bring my spare tire and I don't know when the delamination happened but I feel lucky to have made it home.
