Well, I did pretty good. The Admiral proclaimed last January, "NO BOATS in 2015!!!!"...

...at least I made it to September :eck:  :shades:

Seller has several Johnson Outboards and Johnson and Mercury gas tanks,

didn't count, but probably a dozen tanks in great shape,

3 - 7 1/2 hp Johnson's(red/white)
1 - 5 1/2 hp Johnson(green)
1 - 18 hp Johnson (I am buying that one, going to pick up later this week)

All are in GREAT condition, have good compression. Paint is original and beautiful. Told him I would mention them on this site. He is selling the items for his wife's grandfather and needs to confirm with him on what price he wants for them. From the price I was given for the 18hp, he is being very fair. Can get pic's and/or can pick up the motor's if someone is interested. Only 1/2 hour away from me and I don't mind doing so.

Found a really nice 1959 Lone Star Malibu today on CL. It was a secondary boat for sale on a listing for another fishing boat. Had an obscure mention to the Lone Star as another one for sale as well. The Lone Star is a really straight, no dock rash and no dents in the top deck. Boat had been stored upside down for years, after power washing the moss and grime off it, she cleaned up pretty good. Seller mentioned scrapping it out. It is better than the Meyer he had listed. Cool boat.
