Very nice boat and I like what you have done with it. You could go on some nice cruises with it and sleep aboard.

The pic with my finger in it was still in the building process. Moxie was perched on the gas can presumably looking for groundhogs- her favorite pastime.

The other two pics show the finished interior of the helm- that is 1/4in aluminum on the inside of the transom- with 3/4in marine plywood behind it; then the original transom, then the bracket I fabbed out of 1/4 in alum. All grade 8 7/16 bolts throughout the transom. Very ballsy...plenty strong enough for the third merc 300 pictured on the lift. I got the lift for free from work. It was a life (back) saver as I had the motors on and off fifty times during the install/rigging/testing pocess.

I have the cabin floor and ladies room floor in diamond plate too. The entire floor front and back was stuffed with over four in of hard Styrofoam.

Unbelieveable. I loaded a pic :woohoo:

This was from the beginning of the summer and the interior of the cockpit was nowhere near complete. Looks much gooder now but can't figger out where on the damn computer the pics are, This one will have to do for now.

It is too early to know if the Escape is any good or not. We've only had it a couple months. So far we are happy. My wife loves it. It has the 2.0L Ecoboost and has a towing capacity of 3500 lbs. It tows better than my 2004 Ford Ranger 3.0L. Mileage is much better with the Escape, too, until you start towing giant boats. Then mileage goes in the crapper. Just like my Ranger :)

Sounds like a normal road trip to me. :P Nice boat ! I'm Going to go look at a 2014 Escape tomorrow. Glad to see it is capable of towing the Titanic.......Has it been a good car ?
