merc300 X2- perfect beyond all comprehension. Instant starting at the touch of a key and they ran for hours on end. I burned approx. 40gal 87E and they never missed a beat.
Lone Star Cruisemaster- what a beautiful rough water boat. After countless trips to the TI this is the very first time I ever came home ****WITHOUT**** new boat fever. 110% happy with this rig. Everyone loved the LS- even the mahogany Gar Wood/ Chris Craft owners were waving us thumbs up
Holsclaw trailer- good as could be expected but numbnuts forgot to tighten an axel link bar & it is now laying somewhere on Interstate 81 at the moment...true story
Fishing- my son in law wailed a 21in 6lb smallmouth off the back of the boat...gorgeous bass. We snapped a pic & turned him loose
This was my birthday trip so the grandkids found pap a tee shirt downtown that sez:
I've boated on the St Lawrence many times for work and pleasure. I love it there. I may be biased because I grew up near Kingston, ON, which is where the St Lawrence River begins. I plan to cruise my new 1956 Lone Star Cruisemaster up there once I get it finished. Take lots of photos so I can see what it'll look like. Have fun.
