I went to the doctor to see what he could give me....

I don't know what year your's is, but mine is a 1951. There are small serial numbers stamped mid way down the gunnel and a fellow at a Dura Craft website told me the date of mine. Mine has flush rivets on the bottom of it's hull. Your's looks very similar, only gutted.

Oh, ok.  Didn't realise the tail end had that appearance for so many yeas.  Good tip on serial numbers.  Thanks!

Good you kept it. I've always liked the lines of that boat.

I'd agree that the Duracraft is probably a better candidate for that sort of mod. ...the Duracraft community might beg to differ.

Dan, I thought you sold that one?

Nope, I've never offered it for sale. I have been selling a boat now and then though and have thinned it out to just over a dozen or so. Never my 56 Rocket though!

I may take a ride to see this boat.  It looks like it was set up for controls at one time.  Could it be a 1957?

My logic for the purchase is this one has already been hacked up.  Better to save this one than mess up my Fisher, right??

I have an 18hp that I want to set up for controls.
