That's looking lots better without all the silly 'Cadillac' stuff on it. I don't know what it is about Jetstreaks that inspires such poor taste modifications (...actually, I do; it's the fins). That 'Blue Angels' one with the snowmobile windshields that was for sale a while ago still pisses me off.
I have an idea on the dash bird emblems. Stay tuned. ![]() "Kiss my ass, I bought a boat; I'm going out to sea." - Lyle Lovett

I'm hoping to mount a Mark 25E or Mark 30E onto the 12ft and a
Merc 650 w/tilt onto the 15ft Jetstreak. Wish I had a heated shop, this cold weather slows plans considerable. I have a 650SS short shaft or some early Merc 500's to choose from. Could also mount a Mark 55E on the 15ft. Thanks to you all for the great comments. I'll try to get a post setup with pics of all the boats I have or did have. And Lee, the auction for the Studebaker boat was in Wadena,MN about 120 miles from me. Saw the auction bill while in Brainerd while going out for pizza. Best place for pizza is in Walker,MN. Rick, I think I've found 34 serial numbers so far of various models of the Jetstreak just by using the Crestliner registry and recording any numbers listed in all the topics written on these sites about those where the owner is looking for info. This 15ft is #752-4054 found on the Crestliner tag behind rear seat and on starboard side below rub rail, near windshield.

My 12ft Jetstreak was restored/jazzed up by a P.O. He added many holes or trinkets to trying to pimp it out (older guy than me), such as handle bars on the front deck and moved the front cleats back then covered the holes with step pads, then put "Cadillac Style" script where the flyin bird logo should be on the fins. I didn't want to repaint so I've filled the holes with nice screws and washers. Not too bad looking now.

Hawk 2, that is one hell of a fleet you have! Show us some photos. This is my 12 ft. Jet Streak, a boat that I suspect will be in the hands of Rick G before too much longer. Over the Thanksgiving weekend, my wife asked, "Does that guy in New Hampshire still want the Jet Streak?" She wants me to sell it as much as I want to keep it. I know that in the long run, it is a battle I'm going to lose.

Congrats on the find. It is hard to find them with the fiberglass windshield holder. Look forward to seeing the restoration.

Yeah, they're both about 14' long ...I suppose their Marketing folks had to differentiate them somehow. It's usually pretty easy to tell them apart in pics by the height of the dash. When I saw your pics on my phone yesterday I could have sworn it was an 850. These are clearer here, and the space over the helm makes it obviously a 752. Nice score.
I've been meaning to splash a mold of my 850 windshield base but, so far, haven't got around to it. Sadly, that's the part that's missing on most of these that come up for sale. If there's enough demand I could maybe fast track that over the winter. The guy I bought mine from said "You could get rid of that and make one out of wood." That might be a hint at the mindset for removing them. Loren, you're aware but, for the benefit of anyone else who finds one of these, I do make some reproduction parts for them. I have: tail light lenses, glo-pole/honey dipper assemblies, Dash decals, helm trim rings, and Crestliner/Larson serial and capacity tags. I can also provide a windshield pattern for the 12' and 14' models. The windshield base to fin transition rubber profile is available from Wefco Mfg. Co. (...part # 1606.0). I have a drawing of the rub rail profile ready to submit to them so they can make that too. It's not a huge investment, but I can do it if there's any demand for it. The 752 boats are pretty unusual, but there are more of all 3 models around than you'd think. I started making the tail light lenses a few years ago and, to date, have sold nearly 20 sets. So that's the funny thing. The catalog lists the 752 as 15 ft. long. I am restoring a 752, it measures exactly 14' straight down the middle to the tip of the fin. Measured around the gunnel it's 14' 8". I had no idea until I got this one home. I wonder how many guys pulled out a tape measure after they got the boat home from the Crestliner dealer and said "hey, wait a minute, I bought a 15' boat!"
The 752 is a much beamier (is that a word?) and deeper boat. I'm looking forward to getting this one in the water to see how much better a ride it will be than the "14 ft." model I had previously. There was also a Model 752, 15 feet long and held up to 60hp. Might be one of those. The rarest of the Jetstreaks.
