If it's any help, I bought a 15 foot FC Vagabond (early 50's I think) a year ago that needs a ton of work (currently under construction). It came with a 1977 Merc 402 and I unloaded that ASAP and replaced it with a 1963 Lark V 40hp. Very good Cox trailer. 2,500.00.
IMHO, if it's all there and you like it, 2,000.00 price range is fair for both parties.

Thanks for the response Rick. This is a boat I am trying to buy, and I am trying to determine a fair price to offer the elderly Gent who owns it.

Without pics it's almost impossible to pin down an exact number. I have watched a number of Flying Cs on Craigslist over the past several years and seem to recall that most of the complete, unmolested, but un-restored examples were being sold in the $1500 - 2500 range.

Is this a boat you're selling, or trying to buy?

Dear members, I have a barn find of a 1958 Alumacraft 15 ft, Flying C in original condition, with a Johnson 40 hp Super Sea Horse, Electramatic outboard, on a non period trailer.
Last time she was run was 2008.
A bit rough, and in need of some love, but she's all there, inc. the windshield.
What's a fair price for her ??
No picts available @ this time.

Thanks for the help.
