The trailer is 70% done. The transverse leaf spring almost killed us compressing it. The decals are in for the boat and trailer . A friend at FEDEX has a shop. Good work. The 47 Feather Craft decals are for on the trailer rails to let people know what it is during gas station stops...........Might help with the same question ask every time.....What kind of boat is that ? Driving down the highway ,,,people may read that and cause more old hulls to be pulled from barns.

Axle welded up. Everything new except the brackets. Hope it goes down the road straight.
Put the trailer together tomorrow and Friday. Patterns cut for the seat cushions....

Meg trying to get back to par in two weeks also.

Very cool, man you are a perfectionist!

On the paper work thing, in Tennessee if the boat is older than a 1971 model they won't take a S/N even if you have it and hand written Bill of Sales is just fine.

Second day,,vacation. Worked 12 hrs on the trailer. Built skirts for the ugly ,,ugly,,ugly Master Craft trailer fenders. It's all I have to haul the 47 right now. It's better than it was... Running out of flux core and swapping over to solid with pure Argon in the middle of a job,,,requires tweaking and reverse polarity....

Where I live you can register anything with a serial number, even if it breathes & has hair!

I do have the paperwork,,,but it says it's like a 1969 Feather Craft. The hull ID number is all wrong...

register the boat in wisconsin. you dont have to be a resident and they dont title boats under 16ft. i have done 3 of my boats this way all online. cheaper and easier than registering anything in ohio

If you bought that boat with no paperwork I feel sorry for you and I am not kidding.

PA Fish and Boat Commission should have a billboard out front that says:

*** DO NOT BRING YOUR HANDWRITTEN BILL OF SALE PAST THIS POINT***

It was a miracle I got the Lone Star registered...I had to track down the lady whose name the LS was last registered in in NY and get a notarized statement from her the boat was sold legally and NOT STOLEN and the bastards STILL GAVE ME AN ARGUMENT

Good luck. You will surely need it

I went through the same thing, ended up doing the same thing. Ended up spending nearly $600 on a piece of a trailer that I got with the Flyer.
