Mark, Your Vag looks great. I am looking forward to seeing it at RVP6. However, don't ask me if I would like to take it for a spin.

So I guess this restoration comes to an end,,Finally after 2 yrs 9 months. When this project began I started it with day 1,,,thinking it would take a couple of months...Well it didn't. The paint removal and severe hull damage was a major obstacle . As was the severe damage to the entire hull from the assault from a grinder. Throw in extreme winters of severe cold caused by man made global warming,,and my mom with Alzheimers ,,,it's taken a longer than expected. As a matter of fact ,,it was so intense, that I considered giving up on boats,,,,So here it is. Not mint by any means,,but better than it was. It's been a rocky road..

Just finished Alodining the two original 47FC emblems and backed two of the Bonz feathers with clear red ultracote. I think I screw
them on for removal when polishing the boat.

Yep..tilt bed. HEAVY ! The boat is on the trailer. After I posted that last night,I sat down in the big chair,,hours later...I woke up. Looked at Teonia....What happened ? You fell asleep ..No I didn't....Yes you did....You mean I took a Nap ? I don't take naps.. Well watever you did,,your eyes were closed for over 2 hrs...So then I went out to move the Jeep...Dead battery, since I left the lights on....while i took a nap.......

It is a tilt trailer. The ladder looking structure pivots on the bolts (pins) at the end of the A-frame. There is a sliding bolt that secures/releases the ladder at the front.
