We ran like hell to the bridge at the Dora. After that, it was a spiritual experience.

Were we coming back from dinner at the Palm Gardens restaurant on the Dead River that evening? It sure was a dark black night.

Rob,
I haven't forgotten that dark night on the Dora Canal. Your spotlight was a life saver. John

Marc. I think my favorite piece of Madeline Rose is the spotlight.... I don't use it much, but a trip thru the Dora Canal in Tavares, FL one night, sure is memorable.

This light was in bad shape. The cable was completely rusted and nothing would break it free "first photo". I had to hack this thing up Big time in order to get the light to move properly. It still isn't working as it should but the one super cool thing is that the light still works!!
I hacked up a new mechanical steering cable and some JB Weld to make it work. This thing was a pain in the but and the head of the light was broken off the base too. Well... a long story short..... I have a light that rotates horizontal and vertical. Super cool! Click the link below for information on vintage Mercury restorations
