Nice. Those bomber seats are... well... bomber!
I've thought they would be right at home in a Feathercraft. 50 Something Vagabond (54)

I had a rear seat back made to mimic the front seats.

My Hawk handles my 78A weight just fine at 188 lbs. Cruising speed 28-30. My hawk and the Merc 400 "45hp" same as the 58A, was a wonderful set-up as well at 127 lbs. Cruising speed was about 23-25 mph. A four stroke 30 on the back might be a little light in the HP, not knowing how much that motor would weigh, just me thinking out loud and not knowing. My ID plate states up to a 50hp. 1957 Clipper with a 1969 Merc 1000

I should have posted these here instead of the What did you do thread. Sorry for the drift over there...

By happy accident, my walmart throw cushions fit nicely. I may need to make something for the backrest though. “I would rather have a mind opened by wonder than one closed by belief.” Gary Spence

Pretty cool, my old bones need padding, are you going to do cushions of any kind?
