Rick what you mean "you been wanting someone to try that"?

Marc, I meant doing a paint fill. I do it on the much smaller areas on the switch plates, but these bigger plates seemed to be more of a challenge than I wanted to try. It looks great though. Now I'm gonna' have to do mine. ;)

Rick, I was talking to Jay about these plates and his process on facebook, I going to give it a shot for the set you sent me for my boat and the oval ones you sent me for Dawn's boat. I will do hers first... It is a process I am sure that one cannot rush through... These will pair off nicely with my dash switch panel you made...

Rick, did you ever try any of the ones I made a pencil rub of?

Those Larks are beautiful motors. I keep resisting the urge to tell myself that I need Two for the Clipper.

Looks great Jay. The paint came out nice. I've been wanting to see someone try that.

getting closer... the motor is running like a top in the bucket.... and thanks to Jennings for helping me rivet on the new name plates from Rick. Although Jennings wasn't the one up in the bow in a position I haven't been in in years lol.. the things we do for these boats

The height of your controls may also make a difference.
I agree steering cables should be as straight as possible to minimize rubbing.
