Beautiful indeed Dan, but they are Women!
John

Funny how the male brain never progresses passed about 20 when it comes to females. And I am so glad of that.

Well unclB..... I do prefer flying down the highway at 80 mph. However, given the circumstances and your valuable warning, I will refrain myself. Thank you.

That reminds me.... I have a ticket to take care of tomorrow. :eck:

I would buy new tires and rims from Northern tool. They already come together. Keep the smaller ones for a spare. 12 inch I believe will fit under that fender. It looks pretty high off the original tires. Peace of mind is worth the money.. Trust me........

In agreement with John. As long as the tires are in good shape and you don't fly down the freeway at 80MPH, you should be OK.
The axle looks like it fits the trailer.
Hub maintenance is always a good thing.
If you choose to replace the tires and 4.80X12's don't fit under the fenders, you might consider 5.70X8's.

Thanks Boatboy! The opinion given to me was from a family friend who drives a huge truck and pulls a huge boat trailer with a coastguard reserve rescue boat that looks nearly as big as a pontoon boat. So..... he did admit he would get me another opinion from someone else more familiar.

Regardless, I would feel better to replace the tires just because it will travel about 250 highway miles. They have been sitting still for several years. Would ease my mind.
