It looks like D-Rat #1 was pretty cool too. The history of the project just gets better and better. Don, I appreciate the offer to bring the boat to the shipper. I guess it might be because of the holiday, but I still haven't had a single response to the U-Ship listing.

If it helps, the trailer is 16' 6" long and 6' wide.
I can meet the shipper at the Longbow Marina parking lot.
Or at the Owingsville, KY exit (#121 on I-64)

Congratulations to the both of you that has been the fastest sale I have seen on here. I am super excited to see this project get completed. I think Richard is the perfect guy for this job. Congrats Don and Richard I am happy for the both of you.
Good luck Richard with the new boat. I hope you have a great time.
I just have to figure out a way to get it down here, without my wife killing me. We're supposed to be leaving any day for a cruise up the river to Nashville, then back over toward Knoxville and the Fall Arrowhead event before turning back south in October. If I delay it (again), my life could be in danger.
I'm amazed at all the work Don has done on the D-Rat. What a magnificient job he's done. It won't matter that I will finish it, the D-Rat will always be Don's boat in heart and soul. I fully intend to consult with him through the completion process, as it's his baby. I'm just profoundly grateful that he's giving me the opportunity to do this.
I'm thankful it sold so quickly. I've been interested in taking on that project for several years now but have practiced self-discipline that comes with having too many projects as it is. Congratulations to the both of you.
