Is any part of the transom salvageable to reuse for the new transom? If not install the wood and the handles back on an make a wall hanging. It would look good hanging over a fire place or a bar.

I chopped up some more metal today. I'm working on the transom.
I took this much angle out to match up with the angle of the jetski transom:



Here's what it looks like today. The small strip of aluminum over the top is to mock up the new transom profile. I kind of like it...





I made a "first draft" template:



I'll go tomorrow to get a chunk of 1/4" aluminum for the rest of the job.

I had a little energy after returning from the transport, so I moved the bulkhead. It looks just like it did before, just 6'" to the stern, so I didn't take any photos. I think it will look better with a one foot longer deck.
