That looks spectacular!

I used 1/4" marine plywood. I made cardboard patterns of all the flooring then I cut the plywood, sanded, coated with CPES then painted with Epoxy floor paint from Lowes. Once all dry, I sprayed truck bed liner with the color I wanted. Depending on the gun you use, you can make the texture light which is easy on the bare feet. It will hold up for years and it does not add a lot of weight to the boat.
I also added some aluminum supports to the stringers so that my floor stayed level. All the flooring is held down with Rivet Nuts. I screwed the floor down with oval head stn. stl. screws with stn. stl. finish washers. All that I did has better support and did not add any weight to the boat.

Do you mind sharing with us how you attached the late style steering at the motor?

This is what I did with the floor in my 57 Vagabond II. Original plywood floor painted green by the jackass that owned it previously, one of many cheap ass sins by this guy. I know his name was Zach and his woman was Lin because of instead of buying 7 letters at 99 cents apiece, he put electrical tape on the sides of the boat and carved the names in it! This is tongue and groove beaded mahogany, many coats of varnish. No slippery issues so far, but nevertheless run it in the rain, mostly sits at our camp dock and looks pretty….

We did the teak floor mat thing to our '49 Vagabond this summer - it was a lot of work but it came out pretty good.
The gray area on the rear deck is where we put the gas tank.
