Yep, I thought you were winding Buzzerbaits up implying the Evinrude was so reliable you didn't ever work on it and thusly didn't know how to take the cover off or even open it up.

it could be the same Evinrude. the fella I bought it from did say the fella he bought it from was suffering from rope Burns. Burn. Could just be a coincidence though.
