These will work but you have to make sure you polarize the generator once it's all hooked up and don't run the red wire through a switched circuit or it will lose polarization every time you turn it off.
And always remember the fastest Feather Crafts run OMC :biggrin:

I bought a couple Harley Davidson regulators based on a recommendation from someone on the Antique Outboard site. I haven't used them, yet. I repowered to Mercury shorty there after and they went in the parts bin. Hopefully, they will be in service this summer on my cabin cruiser. I'll see if I can find them today and post the model numbers.

Does anyone know of a source for the voltage regulator used with a 1958 Evinrude Big Twin 35? Has anyone used a "modern" solid state regulator instead of the original type?
