Ha! good one. ...and that's pretty much the reason I'm not one any more.

Hey, Hey, Hey... What's wrong with bass players?

At least he's not a drummer!

Darlene told a funny joke about bass players.

What's the difference between a bass player and a pizza?

A pizza can feed a family of four.
.

The stone age didn't end because of a lack of stones.

I bought a newer motor this year, its three years newer than my 1956 Lark.  I guess I need the special ed treatment too.....

Alan,
We all knew you were special when we learned you were a bass guitar player. ;-)

Hey Marc,
I’ve been talking to a guy about seeing if we can do an electronic ignition for the Mercs with coils. That’ll be a winter project of mine. It may make them a ton more reliable since the fuel system is pretty bomb proof.

Hey Rick your right, no reason to drive two days to be stuck at the dock bumming rides.

30 Year old motors are starting to get old to now.

I feel modern with my Tower having no  points to mess with.

I'm still running my 1957 Evinrude. I guess I am a minority now. Does that mean I get special treatment?

Yeah, I was surprised at just how many modern 4 strokes there were.  Friday a bunch of us were all stopped and shut down.  Scoot's Vagabond was next to us when I noticed his tell tale spitting water. I couldn't hear that Tohatsu running from 10 feet away.  Made me seriously re-think my commitment to vintage motors, at least for a boat I plan to travel with. :)
