If it's sound, that is a lot of boat for $3,800. The seller's claim that "It takes a motor from 5hp.-40hp." is ridiculous for a 21 foot boat.

I've heard that you can use the last registration in lieu of a title in NC but heard it's not as smooth/easy to do. I'm still in a search for my first boat so I'm weary to try it off registration and be out X amount of dollars on a boat I can't use. They really should make it easier.

FWIW I just moved from GA where they don't title trailers. When I moved to NC I gave my brother the trailer since I don't use it much anymore. It took him 3 times of going to the DMV before someone there would register it in his name without a title.

You know all these states have reciprocal agreements on most every type of motor vehicle law (except for the motorcycle helmet requirement), Tennessee does not issue titles for watercraft, so how do you sell any of these high dollar watercraft that are being sold new everyday in Tennessee.
