No, just trying to make room. My Sons Flying D spends it's Summer on a lift at our Cabin, and the Winter hanging in a Shipping container.Thats why we don't need the trailer.

Welcome back Sandusky! I've spend some time eyeing that DR. Too bad you are 600 miles away! Does the trailer have to go with the hull?

Sweet, congrats! I'm glad one of us got her, early ones like her don't seem to come up all that often. Good job NGHS B)

I was planning to "borrow" the bow handle of the Penguin to have it re-casted for the Firefly. I just didn't have someone to do the cast. If you have a source, I have the donor.

I bought the Penguin specifically for this purpose, it will get the re-pop and will put the original on the FF, as well for the oversized Tee Nee for the Penguin that will fit the Vagabond.

If we can come up with a bow handle somehow I can have it reproduced- (re-cast)

I wish I never woulda sold my '48 but I made a ton of $$$ on it- I miss that little bugger. Oh well.

Acting as your own agent, or for someone else?

Good luck either way

Not sure I'd want to pay $450 (OBO?) to 'see' if the bow casting fits. Will it?

Or take it off what looks like a pretty decent shape Skipper.

Buzz had a really rough Clipper he salvaged stuff off recently and i've seen other FC castings for sale. As long as the existing bow casting held it together up front, i might leave it until much later in a project to see if 1 showed up before pulling 1 off a functional boat.
