The center hole is straight not tapered, I talked to that guy last week, my shaft is tapered so I couldn't use it! I was going to polish that wheel.

No Ray, I often steer for awhile before I remember to put them on.
One thing I have noticed is that when my boat is tied up to a dock the deck metal gets too hot to touch but once underway it seems to cool down a lot. I guess that's because the air moving across the deck carries away the heat. John

The foil decals I have seen on late model (fourth quarter) 1954 models and mostly all 1955 models, it is interesting to hear that there are some early (first quarter) 1956 models that had the foil decals as well...

There are days that the aluminum polished or not feels hot enough that it might peel a layer of skin off...
