Oh, c'mon Steve... we can do better than that! Didn't James Dean used to own your boat? ;)

If I ever decide to sell my Vagabond I am having this guy write my ad...

"Made from a B-29 aluminum wing by Boeing Wing Mechanics after WWII...She's the one with double bulk heads and curved rear end!...a real run-about from a by-gone-era..."

He probably writes fiction novels in his spare time...

What's with all the bungee cords? The extra eyelets on the sides of the boat cannot be very aerial dynamical. Any Boeing Wing Mechanics would know that, come on...:hmm:

And that is why I called her the Naboo..She has the lines of the Queens ship. God that boat is eye candy..Took a lot of work getting her there. 2 Yrs of stripping sanding major sheet metal repair..and pissed off neighbors..SIC I never thought you would stop using that polisher !!!!! Same neighbors that come over,,Mark my tractor is broken,,my car is broken,I have a short in the house,,,Can I use your big pull behind sprayer ? Can you dig out a footer with your tractor ? Can I use your burn pile,,I don't want to burn my grass ? I thought 2 1/2 acres would isolate me.... Nope. But downhill from me is a young CarMax mechanic,,,,He is awesome ! We help each other out. Like in his 30's. Nice wife ,nice little kids. The kids are the reason I spent a fortune putting a fence around the pool. :P

Yeah, me too, but the 'aircraft aluminum', 'aircraft rivets', and 'surplus WWII bomber parts' thing is getting kinda old. As long as people are going to be so willing to be misinformed about it we should be able to encourage a more interesting narrative... one that could really drive up the value of our boats.

How about... "...designed and constructed using technology and plans from a captured alien spacecraft that crashed at Roswell, Georgia in the late 1940's. The Roswell, New Mexico incident was just an elaborate hoax, perpetrated by Walt Disney and the military, to divert the public's attention from the real event."

Feel free to add whatever details you have... ;)

...and it was a Bell Aircraft plant and Bell was a major contributor to the B-29 manufacturing effort. It's not unreasonable to assume that there were probably lots of skilled aircraft workers looking for jobs in the area after the war... Easy to see how this stuff gets started.
