Scrap Aluminum runs about .50 a pound here. It always pays to know the current price and the weight of the boat. Everybody thinks they have a gold mine. You have to educate but not insult. if your lucky you can get her for scrap value I usually have better luck paying about .75 per pound.

Anyone looking at the tri-cities Vagabond needs to look very close at the bottom, it almost looks to have some corrosion where the dent is, very much complicating any repair to the dent.

I paid $1,500.00 for mine with a 30hp johnson and no trailer...

Although mine wasn't hit by a tree. The damage doesn't look good...

If I have done my math correctly...$750=2140 lb hull (@ .35/lb) this is the price I was just quoted two weeks ago. It's more like $120 worth of aluminum. Prices are down right now, but I don't think it has ever been close to $2.35/lb. I love it when guy's think that aluminum rests somewhere just short of gold prices  Dealt with a guy this summer who thought the same thing with a Lone Star.

Too bad for the "55" Vag. Rode hard and put away wet.
