W.W. . We live on the west side of Tenn river / lake about 25 minutes south of the Arrowhead resort / rally section of Spring city.. The sand bar / swim spot is about half way up the SALE CREEK water which actually goes west under four lane # 27 . Activity here goes back to 1830's era when U.S. soldiers purged Indians west on that Trail of Tears history.. Gov't had blankets to sell, but Indians said their quality was better, thus the First Yard Sale was held name was adopted..Some 1860 Civil war rifle trenches near the sailboat marina, but no history... Next south inlet is POSSUM Cove / creek, same calm water for water skiing, kayak etc, bass fishing tournaments,, many big houses now under construction in this area.. Next south inlet is SODDY lake / creek,, 4th of July can view town firework right from your boat.. Pitch a tent in the park.... 1930 had two coal towns that never struck rich , thus in 60's merge both to form township Soddy - DAISY , great retirement area now..... Further south inlet is the 1950 CAMP DIXIE (Textile mills) , CAMP COLUMBUS, & mega camp ground Sandy Beach county park called CHESTER FROST.. Bass tournament here...I was big into GLASSPAR fiberglass boats / cabins, before the easier aluminum Feather models. .. Lots of rock ledges for swimming, tarzen ropes, etc.

Those are a couple of really nice pics of your boat, Larry. What body of water is it?

I was going to say that it looked like your boat Larry, but could not remember the name of it.

WOW.. W.W. that is a interesting link from Knoxville... The seller sent me a pic of his Cherokee a few weeks ago..I got the identical red model 15 ft in the fall.. I do not see serial #'s in the hull , but my friend had continous reg from Tenn as a 1958 .. The rear seats do have great leg room. Seems well made & mine is half restored with new wood & half polished, Original SHORT transom, but I cut wood for a Long 20" motor as no splashwell ,, rear deck is strong for sitting...
