Hi, welcome to the site. B)

I can't help with your question, but if you post a couple of pictures of your boat, I am sure someone here will be able to help.

Are you starting to restore the boat?

Jabe is a Scotch-Briter... And one good one too.

You can do a search here to find a lot of information on polishing. I used this and like the results.

Good luck and have fun!

Thanks for the info! I was thinking that may be the case. That stamp is on the transom, on the outside on the right. I peeked inside and didn't see any brass plate. It's possible the board in there was replaced by a previous owner. It's still strapped to the top of my Jeep...my fiancée isn't keen to help me take it down. I'm probably picking up a trailer this weekend and then I'll stick her on there and get stated with the cleaning and restoration.

I'm probably going to have it soda blasted to take that red paint and some oxidization off. Then, I'm looking to polish her up to a nice shine. If you have any recommendations on the best way to do that I'd be all ears!

As I said in the subject, I'm new here and just became the proud owner of a Feather Craft. However, I'm in need of help with the serial. I've looked at other threads but I reckon mine is different on account of it being a Canadian, Fleet Feather Craft. Can't tell if it's a Topper or Fisher or what year it was produced, although I would guess 1956. What's stamped on the transom is 56/398.

I've included a few pics here and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
