Scoot, If they are hydraulic try Apple Hydraulics.  Sometimes they are just out of oil, they sell special stuff, but bottle jack oil works fine.  They look like the old ford shocks. www.applehydraulics.com  If they are friction just take apart and add new friction material

Hey Scoob. Welcome aboard. I may have some questions about the lever/knee shocks perhaps used on those cars. Looking for someone to rebuild a set that I have. Any knowledge/experience with them?
Scoot
Thank you! Sorry, know very little about knee shocks. My hot rod will be mid 50's styling at which point they would have been running tube shocks. I do know that they are rebuildable, and that your example closely resembles '40 Ford rear shocks but thats it!

Bruce, I believe I have been following your A Model build on the HAMB, I'm crusty chevy over there.  I have two feather craft and am inside the perimeter and see merky, dr chip, vintin and bikecop at Lanier often in the summer.  Check out the Lake Lanier Vintage Boating group on FB for monthly meet-ups starting up soon.  The Arrowhead Feather Craft meets are only 3 hours  from us, and a great time to be had.

Ha! Thats me! Small world in common interests. The Coupe is on the back burner for the summer... trying to get my FC going. I just joined Lake Lanier Classic Boaters Group, I hope that's it! I'll be sure to attend an event here and there, I'd like to attend spring Arrowhead even if from the shore. Hopefully with the boat this fall.

Glad to have you with us Bruce. I'm on Lake Sinclair, lots of us are also involved in other groups like AOMCI with meets down at Suwannee, FL. and more old boats with Blue Ridge Chapter of Antique and Classic Boat Society. Our Feathercrafts are welcomed everywhere! Dive in!
