If I was asked which Feather Craft should you use to catapult yourself off of the bow of a 30’ Cutter at 25 MPH?
I would have to say, use a 56 Rocket ![]() Never doubt the wisdom of dumb question’s.

I’d love to see more of these letters more likely proof my ranger was purchased by royal mountain police.

Love the Feathercraft!! Some people want to know how a watch works, others just want to know what time it is. |

In 1956 there was only one Rocket. The Golden Rocket. In 57, 58 the Rocket had a front and a back seat with a walk through front seat. I believe the hull skin is the same size and shape but the stringers are very different in the 57 and 58 model years. 1956 was gold anodized only. 57 and 58 was either gold or blue anodized. I don't believe there was a non anodized version. EDIT: PS I see where Locomotion says he's heard of non anodized 1956 versions. |

We have run across a couple of 1956 Rockets that were not Gold anodized.

Also, were all 1956's Golden Rockets or were there Standard Rockets as well in 1956?

Yes, I figured it's a Golden Rocket from what I've learned. There is no plug in the keel. What type of plug is it and are they available for sale somewhere?

I am sure that you know they are for a GOLDEN rocket which is different than a Rocket
By the pictures you sent you have a GOLDEN rocket If the plug is no in the keel you will have a boat full of water |

Bruce,
Thanks for the reply. Is this plug available anywhere or do I need to make one? By the way, looking forward to the two pair of transom brackets that you shipped yesterday. One pair is for this boat and the other is a spare pair. Mark |
