Jim Parnell used Lexel on his, has anyone else? I’m doing my new transom boards in the next day or two.

I have used the GFlex with good results on seams, but I prefer Loctite Marine Adhesive/Sealer for transom board and flush patch sealing.
Plus, it's reasonably priced and can be found at Home Depot and Lowes.

I’ve used West Systems Gflex epoxy. Good stuff.

Philip I use this on my transom bolts and such for below water line.. seems to work well. Not 100% if it’s your match? I’ve heard sikaflex is best?

Sealant question 30 Sep 2022 16:17 #122894

Hello,
Just finished leak test on the '55 Vagabond for my re-restoration.  Found a couple pin holes in the center flange on bottom of hull.  Could be coming from rivet close by, but I don't think so.
In 2012 I had applied a thin bead of Honda Ultra Flange from end to end of hulll and all seams and may do so again.  But does anyone use something else that is just as good  as Honda Ultra Flange that isn't so pricey and easier to find, or is that pretty much the best hull sealant there is?

Thanks,
Phillip Henderson
