Nice-looking boat!

You should take your boat upstream to the gathering at Arrowhead next week.  I've done the leg from Stevenson to Chattanooga with my wife in our Deluxe Runabout, and also the leg from Chickamauga Dam to Arrowhead with a friend in his Vagabond.  One of these years I'm hoping to go all the way from Huntsville (Ditto Landing) to Arrowhead.

What did you use for the bunks on the trailer?

They really look good.

Thanks! It looked lots better than pics I've seen of it. 

Torn between Coosa and StarBoard for another project and would prefer Coosa for strength as long as it can be finished without glassing.

I sealed the Coosa Board with two coats of Rust-Oleum Grit Truck Bed Coating.  This sealed it very well and gave it a bit of texture.  I also used this coating on the top-front of bow - it was beat up and the coating also gives good footing.

Great job! Even better that the boat has some history with your Dad.

I'm curious about the Coosa board on the transom... is it finished somehow, or 'raw'?
