As far as I can see from quite a few Feather Cr4aft the smooth gunwale ribs were before 1957
I have 2 Fleet Ranger 1s and one has smooth gunwales and the other has ribs
Also the Vagabonds before 1957 did not have the bird bow handle , 1957 and later they did
what ive learned from the guys is the leather look was made in Canada, and the ice flake look was made in USA.
Not sure if I’m correct but guessing the machine rolling alum out or maybe the supplier of aluminum would be the difference?
To the best of my knowledge late 56 to maybe mid 58, at two different locations, first the Fleet manufacturer then sold to another manufacturer in the later in Welland, I have only seen Rangers and Cartoppers, If they made other models it's news to me
Welcome, that looks like a great deal, can't see any problems selling her.
being Canadian and looking at your pictures, I am surprised to see the ribbed gunnel rail and riveted over top of the deck material, that is a standard feature of the Canadian Fleet FeatherCraft, I can't quite make out the texture of the deck, is it the ice flower or does it look like leather grained?, I do not believe any ski Bob's were ever made here, especially at the later date you figure, cheers and best wishes selling
just got a zoom in, I will be damned it is the leather texture, that just surprises the hell out of me
