If you have ever been with Terry, Nat and Gunner in their Skibo, you would understand what a great Feather Craft this is.

I have a really nice Skibo hull, no trailer, motor or title that anyone can have for $100 US if they come to Louisianna.....

I said they are cool classic boat. For sure no where near as cool or desirable as a Vagabond.

I have seen photos of it on FB Marketplace.  It's sitting on a trailer that I might be interested in for my Vagabond, but I've not seen anything in person.  Doubt he'd separate the two tho.

I'm curious why it's still (apparently) unsold.  Maybe the Skibo is not as desirable as the barrel back? I dunno.  I will probably be driving past it in a little over a week if anyone is considering it.

Skibos are great boats if you want good practical family classic. Bonz here has a beautiful one and I was always impressed with the floor space.  Way more room than a Vagabond. That's a great price too if it's in good shape. What can you buy these days for $600?  He might sell it if he would put photos in the ad.

PS. Hey may have sold it long ago and he never removed the ad. Have you seen photos??

There is a Skibo in Wisconsin for sale.  It was pointed out in the CL Listings thread, but no comments.  That was back in April and it's still for sale. Typically a FC would not last that long at this price.  I can only assume that it's the Skibo that is the issue.

What is the opinion of the group on the Skibo?  Is it just not a desirable model?  I figure if this was a Rocket or a Flyer, or even a Vagabond, it'd have generated more activity.

Thoughts on this model?

I drive through that area a few times a year and I'd be willing to look at it and provide a better condition report if someone was interested. Depending on condition of the boat/trailer, I could even transport it further north to N. Wisconsin or to Southern Wisconsin/Milwaukee if that would help someone get their boat.

I'd consider buying it, but I have a vagabond that needs attention before I get another boat.

thanks,
