Hawk III Info? 20 Jan 2021 20:01 #109439

In addition to the Hawk III, I was unfamiliar with the Meteor. I'd love to see one of those in person.
As for Hiflyer, he doesn't appear to be one to check his Inbox. I PMed him to ask his location but haven't heard from him. :(

Yep, there was a Lapstrake Hawk. Formed topsides though, not actual planks. A member from out west has one:

Hawk III and the Hawk III Lap are listed in the 1962 catalog:

Hawk's are well built boats. If you are looking to sell it you can put it in the classifieds here on the site. If you want to fix it up and have a cool vintage boat, go for it. You too can become a feathercraft nut :shades:

Hey All,
last year I bought a project Hawk III, it needs a motor, but the boat is solid and seems leak free with all the hardware, it's TeeNee has also seen better days but its there.

I'm doing research and looking for info on it, but if the internet is to be believed they barely ever existed. I can post pics and serial numbers tomorrow, but does anyone have any information on these boats? If it's indeed that rare, I'm beginning to think it might be better off in a real feathercraft nut's hands. If that's the case any idea of value?

Thanks!
