I thought mine needed a top. They are built like a tank.

I like those Holidays.

I saw a guy on Facebook who took the top of his Cruisemaster and made it look like a big Holiday.

Interesting... The guy put a Feathercraft type windshield on it.

Wow, congrats!! I love the look of the short front deck, the front part of the bow, and the windshield!!! I could see myself farting around on a boat like that, big time.

How long, and wide? Looks like you need a 1961 Merc 700 FGS on the back of her.

Great boat even if it isn't a "Rare Feather Craft ".......

I wish I had kept my Lone Star.

Well... With some encouragement from my wife and Dave Ennis (nsul8r25) I scored a Lone Star Eldorado.

This was the boat that had been left on Daves property when he bought the barn. Dave set me up with the owner and I made a low offer, which he accepted.

I've always liked the look of these sedan style boats and when this one popped up it really got me thinking I needed a new project.

It's a1960 Eldorado, last registered in 2004.

The hull is in good shape, but the interior is a total gut job.

Todays task.

Remove all the debris, leaves nuts, pine needles.
Take off all the steel. The past owner had installed several steel brackets.
Start taking off the sidewall panels and start removing foam.

The floor is a spongy mess, everything will need to come out.

The transom wood looks like it may not need to be replaced.
