The numbers on the hull are the correct ones.
I would venture to guess the person titling the boat mis-read the GC as a 66.
GC actually represents the year 1962.
It will be your call on whether you want the correct number on the title.
Mine was screwed up too and it took several attempts getting it corrected. They never did get the year right and I gave up on it.
I have found on your web sight the 1962 boat catalog in which it showed a ski boat model SKI BO. It matches what I have, trouble is, the hull numbers do not match the original owners title. The title lists the hull number as SK38W66 but the stamped in hull number (hard to read) says it's SK38WGCWL? When I investigated further getting to a Feathercraft web site, it informs me that SK380W GCC WL is missing. I believe i have it. Is there a way you can verify which number is correct? I am in the process of trying to register this boat in Canada.
Your help is much appreciated.
