It is the same as painting a car........and buy the good stuff. I prefer PPG.

You can't re-anodize them. Beautiful paint job, though !!

I'd love to fix up a Rocket. Or take a really messed up deckless bass boat converted Vagabond or DR and give it the Rocket treatment. Pull the front cockpit back a foot and make a small decked over rumble seat/storage area. And a rear hard hatch kind of like the one I made on my current boat. Streamlined and impractical.

Because I have so much extra time to burn these days HA HA...

I understand 56was the only year for the front cockpit only-year before and after he back seat. Almost bought on of the 4 passengers a while back $2600 boat/motoe/trailer..

I might be a little different,, I have 3 of these 1 original, 1 restored[when I first started] and another in process, and I have paid more than I should 6k bare boat,10yrs ago,,but I look back, Im glad I have em and I havent missed a meal,,so go for it, ,here a pic of latest project,Good Luck Bill
