What have you done to your vessel lately..... 25 Apr 2020 21:57 #104055

The gas tank in my Vagabond was mounted on the floor board with a 2 X 4 under it for support, all of which was starting to rot.
New aluminum mounts and tank back in place but not tightened up yet, new hose and bulb on the way.

boat looks great with the split windscreen
any ideas where to get brackets like yours for the windshield?

its not a feathercraft but my 15' cutter fibreglass is now in its final resting place waiting to be filled with dirt and become a garden with an empty shell of an early /mid 60's Evinrude 60hp sport 4

I finished securing the floorboards in my Vagabond today. I used HD velcro which has worked very well in my other FCs. Fwiw, the vinyl on the seat pans matches the cushions and is also held in place with velcro. The vinyl prevents any damage to the cushions which have a different pattern, using the same colors, on each side. I figure I can flip the cushions over when I want a different look. :)

I had Prop Dave rework my original Johnson prop. It had an original and thus questionable hub. It also had a bunch of dinks and gouges on the leading edge of two of the blades that he welded up and ground to shape.

Took the windshield off of the Vagabond. I think I like it better.

I mounted my bow light and a chock. And am slowly working on the mahogany deck strips

Well, let's see..... replaced both fresh water pumps, rebuilt aftercoolers and all four oil coolers, changed a ton of hoses and clamps, serviced engines and generator, and replaced stainless 8" exhaust elbows.

Oh, I'll bet you meant what has been done on the FeatherCraft. Okay... installed additional transom braces, finished upholstery, installed controls and steering, wired boat, ran initial engine check, installed anchor light/mast, bilge pump, fuel tank, filter, lines, interior trim, made and mounted windshield and upholstery.

Sheltering in place is expensive. :)

I can’t say I haven’t had time....I added tailights to my trailer, added a bilge pump with a fancy stainless steel through hull,,positioned three 6 gallon metal fuel tanks and repositioned my battery and battery box....on my Rocket-formerly buzzard baits...
