The Athletic House was the area dealer for Feather Crafts here in Knoxville, I don't think there was another dealer in the area.

I wonder if you look up a period phone directory if you may find a Griffith in Maryville
still wonder if it is a dealerl name ,or perhaps perhaps 2 last names before it was a common thing?

In doing more cleanup today I discovered stenciled lettering on each side of the front cockpit...

I can clearly see MARYVILLE TENNESSEE on the second line and made out the name GRIFFITH on the first. Before that is a little tougher... MORN is fairly clear, but can't think of a first name ending in that?

I wonder if it was the original owners last name or maybe dealer name it was destined to go to maybe written on the transom to identify it as it made its way through production??

it would be weird having a boat name under/behind the outboard
