I had to go to car lot and they took pictures of my trailer and the Id tag and they filled out the paperwork I got from the county clerk's office it has to notarized then take it back to the clerk's office and pay for the tag don't let them charge you taxes on it you have already paid the taxes when you registered your boat they will send you a title also

Hey Charlie,
What kind of paper did you have to have to get the tag?

You'll be subject to the laws and reciprocity agreements in all of the States you'll pass through. Perhaps more important, you'll be subject to the discretion of the officer that stops you ...and more than likely you will get stopped without a tag. Be polite and have a copy of the TN 'We don't register utility trailers' statute. FWIW, I would have let you go under those circumstances, with a warning that the next guy might not. If you can get a tag, it's probably worthwhile.

I would agree. Get a tag and be on the safe side.

All,
Given the current situation with virus I am going to postpone any group trip on April 18th and rest for a trip on Sat May 2nd. Perhaps this can be a precursor for solemn folks going to Arrowhead

Super, we plan on just making the trek from home. Any departure after 9:00 AM is good.
