Hi all 10 Nov 2019 19:21 #100182

WOW, nice grouping , those are some valuable models.. WELCOME..If you are around the S.E. Tenn region this is good area to find boats.... Years ago got a Vag around Chattanooga that soldier bought after getting out of Korea war.. His sons were purging house estate...... Same for a 67 Glasspar cuddy that out of town son was selling as his original owner father had deceased..... Some motor collectors are trying to get some swap / display meets going in the Lenoir city area.... We are retired in the Dayton, Tenn area west side of the river / lake... Again WELCOME.
The same week as Arrrowhead, a city car hoarder , offer a Tenn built boat called Cherokee. he paid nine yrs of state reg fees, & never fixed.. Came with tilt GATOR trl ,needs to go back yellow, but this item is currently something members are searching for in barn finds.. Lucky the seller had all the cushions, windshield in the garage.... Missing the mini Baby Moon hubcaps, so keep asking what other parts go along with boating stuff.

I actually have (3) Vagabonds: 50, 52 and 55. They are in varying states of disrepair. The 55 has all of it's aluminum and is the one I'll start on first.

Here is the 52.

Hey, welcome. Do you have any pictures you can share with us?
You should start your own restoration thread. That way you can keep track of your progress, ask questions, on the topic of your restoration.

What model of boat are you restoring?

Good luck and have fun!

This is my first post on the board. I met some of you at the gathering in East Tn this year. I am looking forward to the restoration process. There is just something about these old FC boats I find attractive.
