Ever epoxy a hub back together? 20 Jul 2019 03:27 #97544

John, we grabbed the G13 from propco, took it one day to get here which so far is twice as long as it took me to get it wet lol

I would say a 10 3/8 X 13 1/4 or a 10 3/8 X 14 would be your best bets.

just got in from a date, got my bronze prop out of the trunk and ran to the Press. a couple of seconds later I had two pieces of bronze and some rubber Sawdust, I'm not sure how we were making 12 miles an hour with this prop yesterday lol
I had optimisticly hoped to just press out a hard rubber core, add some adhesive and press it back in. Someone sells the press in hubs and I need to find them!

Send a PM to Prop Dave on this site. He is a great guy, fellow Feather Crafter and a first class prop repair specialist.

I think your local prop guys is, well, a bit overboard. Pardon the pun.

Sean I would shop those prices. I use Murphy's prop shop in Va. Beach. They have done excellent work and are reasonable.

Epoxy is strong, even stronger with cloth. But I don't think it will hold up.
