A few years I sold that Jet Streak to the guy that owns it now. I can tell it was my boat as I put those seats in the boat. I also live in Upstate NY and really never had an issue registering boats with out a registration. Maybe things have changed as I haven't done it lately. I'll find out soon as I bought a 13 foot Lyman with a Bill of Sale that needs to be registered here in NY. Jim

If Vermont treats boats anything like they do motorcycles and cars, paperwork is little more than a short form and a small personal check/MO away. Here in the Heart of Dixie, anything beyond a crude Bill of Sale is superfluous.

Thanks for posting that David. Like the seller of the Jet Streak, I live in New York where not having a record of a previous registration is going to be a serious problem. Perhaps that is the real reason he is abandoning the project. That is a nice boat for $1,200 for someone who is able to register it.

The seller is Mark Livingston, scroll down to find the posting on this Facebook page. Depending on the state, the paperwork issue may or may not be an issue... in Michigan, it is not an issue,at all. Only one of seven of my boats have had anything but a bill of sale and I was able to walk in and out with title in hand and boat registered.

IMG_1821 (1).JPG I wasn't able to post a link. I took a photo. I didn't read the ad all the way through the first time. It doesn't have paper work which makes it worthless. I'm on facebook but only to see the boat and car sites. They have a lot of interesting things on sale.[attachment=31261]IMG_1821 (1).JPG

How about posting a link, those of us who do not Facebook can get on to see it if we have a link.
