TOPIC: Trying to identify my boat

Trying to identify my boat 11 Feb 2019 18:08 #93379

While starting in on polishing, I did a light sand over the serial number and it is GC rather than G0. So it is a '62. Really appreciate your help!

Congratulations and welcome aboard. Anyone that uses a toothbrush to clean their boat is a-ok in my book. :)
Like "Split", I spent many yrs on the Mighty Hudson, my formative yrs, to be exact. Of course, based upon your location, I imagine you'll be spending more time on Lake George than the Hudson. Nice! Good luck with your restoration.

CONGRATS.. Many years in Poughkeepsie on the Hudson River... Now Chattanooga , Tenn retired.. That gal is cleaning nice.. Your got a good supply of TILLER motors.... Maybe if that letter “X” is the month , Roman numeral equal 10 for Oct . ? Many manufactures went to odd code in the 60’s .. Glasspar was quite good in the late 50’s early 60’s.. Then 67 went to long crazy letters.

Welcome Bubba,
If that is a GC instead of G0 it would be a '62 model.
I think the P means painted and the L means lapstrake.
The X is the month but I haven't found the breakdown for it.
Post some pics.
