Jabe, are you going to use a guide/pulley in the middle of the steering run? I ask as because my hull has holes at the rear dash and was not sure if I needed to use them to keep the cable tighter to the hull and out of the way where is swells in width. Also, did you decide to let the cables go out through the small gap between the front dash and the hull or under it?

was cleaning jewlery today, ran a temp cable (Oscars old leash) for the steering as well, got me list together to tie up the steering.........

thanks Dave, i over looked that part..........i should consider some way of letting loose and recapture while crusing......you know what they say, if ya hold it in, it will travel up your spine, to your brain.........and that is where sh!tty idea's come from..........:doh:

Do you plan to drill a hole in the bottom of the front seat, attach a hose and run it back to the gas tanks as part of your Methane Reclaim System (MRS) modification?


need to know for cushion redesign...

spent this aft securing and finish build the fore and mid floor decks.........just need to finish and seal the tie down boards at the seat pans.........i pop (:blushy:) riveted a 1/2" "u" channel accross the front of the seat face, for the tie down board to slip into and then secure it to the main floor board.....
underneath, all has foam seperation from wood to stringers, to not wear the seal off my wood.......both have 2 aluminum forward extentions to rest up under the floor of its forward seat..........worked great.............one more day, on too steering...........yahoo.......

bottom side of mid deck

top side of mid deck, with space for 2 fuel tanks.......

tie down board in its channel for each deck

front cockpit, .........

Cheers to small shops :biggrin: and I feel sorry for the little wooden boat.... But I am sure those pulleys are looking to be reborn again!
