my TinyTach arrived today..........yahoo, just another tool me and Nancy can tweek the motors and get the best prop a workin for me..........:cookie:

just got back from a test run up at Belwood, Alan i gave your prop a go.........worked fine.....
i may have lost a mile or two on top speed, ran a consistant 24mph, but it was a bit choppy....
oh yea, no pics, never happened.........

thanks Marc..not sure yet........got some work ahead of me before i go.........i still have the RD-18 i did this winter on Oscar needing another lake test, and would like to get the Javelin on and do a lake test on it ....hopefully my TinyTach will be in soon as well, that will be a great help...dialing in under load and get the best prop i have for what i am pushin........

just for shats and giggles i got my old 15 up and running as well today......another sweetie, my virgin, had no clue but she pushed ole Oscar 15 mph...........


i wanted to get the 7 1/2 wet today, but the Darbyville crew came in and all work stopped...:hand:

got the Javelin into a tank today...........what a sweetie....

she dialed in so nice......might be taboo, but i remove the shift arm so i can get higher RPM"s in the tank so i can dial in closer on the fast speed, then set the slow speed........i love this motor, look out boys, Jabe aint lookin at the back of your boats no nore...:biggrin: :doh:

was just on the phone with TinyTach, i ordered a TT2 CRXL, i ordered it online the other day, and called today to see if everything went through ok........all is good, ...........i did not know they had to make this Tach individually, and apperently some time soon they will be a non available item, they cant find any more of the processors too fit them too our motors, their supplier is going out of bussiness...........:weepy:

fingers crossed i will have it before Rivet Ron-day-vous...........:doh: so i can't spell it.....:shhh:

The one I let you try out was a 10 1/2 X 13" Its the one on the right in the picture with the less surface area. I don't recall the number on it. The one on the left is my main prop pitch which is 10 1/2 X 12"
