You did a beautiful job restoring that Jet Streak. I envy the buyer. I enjoy my 12 footer but you were night about the ride being rough.
Strange that the 15 footer isn't 15 feet long.

Thanks David.
Here is the restored 14ft. that now resides in Illinois. And the unrestored 15' hull. By the way, you know the "15 ft." is actually only 14 ft. but has a wider beam. Go figure

John,

I understand that it may not be an exact fit for the brackets I have but it is a starting point for one. What are you planning on using for the bottom trim?

The windshield is 1/4" smoke colored Lexan. It definitely has a curve profile on the bottom. It is one piece as per the one that was on it . These brackets could prob]ably be used for 2 piece as well. I'll post more picture details of it. Steve, I can mail you a pattern but you would still have to custom cut it for your boat.
John

here is the old one

John,

Do you have a pattern for the windshield you could send me? I have brackets and original glass from an old windshield but it is not wide enough for my Vagabond. I like the looks of this one.

Is the bottom of the w/s straight or did you cut it with a slight curve? I can't tell by the photo.

Back again on my 55 Vagabond. Mounted new windshield. Running wiring, mounted control box on starboard side, began the polishing process.Jim Parnell came over and helped for the afternoon. This hull has lots of dings and deep scratches (patina) but it's all good.

Wasn’t going to ask but this is the second picture from you I’ve seen petrol memorabilia in the background. Looks like a Fry Mae West in the background next to the Texaco sign. Are you into only the visible pump style or the mechanical computer style as well? I’ve done a fair share of restoration of all kinds of petrol memorabilia over the years, mostly pumps and oilers though. You restore that kind of stuff too or just a collector?
