Marc. Here is the layout of the bow. I have had one of those bow cleats on all my FCs. They are awesome. I,m sending you a PM.

There is not much room in the bracket channel. I think the silicone is a great idea I had not thought of. I will do that as well.

Mike I cant answer for John, but what I did was put a bead of clear silicone in the channel, might not be right but it worked for me

Here are some detail shots of the windshield.
Rick, I wanted to get that original color but our local glass shop didn't really have anything close.
Marc, I thinks Jim's wife doesn't allow Jim on the computer (wonder what happened there??? Ha!)
Neil, thanks for your thoughts, I promise I will send you that $.
Steve, PM me your address and I will send you a pattern.

The bottom rubber is a glass setting channel from Restoration Specialties in PA. I just think it looks better with this type of windshield than the big white seal.

Looking good John. That original windshield is exactly the color and shape that was on my '54. I only had a couple of acrylic shards left though.
