Dan came up for a long weekend and we got the ribs back in, the stringer back in and the center transom brace, I was able to salvage and reuse 6 ribs, we made two more last weekend and the center stringer was fabricated new using the original, which was in 6 pieces, as a pattern. We spent Sunday beating the dents out of one side of the bottom, Nick will have to be tricked into helping with the other side. There is no way to detail all the work that went into getting the shape of the bottom back into original condition but it's there now

Ray,
The pink or blue (EXP) foam gives a better finish. It sands well with 220 and 400 grit. It comes in two grades, Formular 150 is the lighter weight version.
The white (EPS) foam melts easier so it's good for larger parts, but does not sand well.
If you need to glue the skirt to the top plate, watered down Elmers glue.
Fillets can be wax or hot melt glue.

Here's something I toyed with.
I 'borrowed' Nat's Amopei callous remover/pedi grinder to rough out the EXP.
