Howdy from Cheyenne Wyoming. My name is David. I bought a Feather Craft 12 foot aluminum boat in Fort Collins Colorado back in 2003. Boat had a Colorado homemade boat assigned HIN from 2001. The Feather Craft decals on the sides are late 60s style. I have been unable to find the factory serial number on the transom and the capacity plate is missing (there is a retangle shaped bare spot in the blue interior paint). Measured the beam at the gunnel at 52 1/2 inches. The length is 11 feet 8 inches. After looking through the catalogs, I am led to belive she's a 1969 Topper 12 Standard although the specs are a bit off. I will get some pics up soon
Welcome to the clubhouse. I do like the rangers.looks like you got a sweet package deal.
Oven cleaner so I hear works Good. I recall someone saying a certain kind works better than onother one. Somebody here will put you on the right course.
It would be cool for you to start your own restoration thread. That way you can document everything and ask questions too.
Many thanks, @Merky Johnrude. Akwa-Lady, but the Mechanical Engineer Man is integral to the process.
I'm in Fairway Oaks - across Waters from Kensington Park. We're a lesser known, but quieter nabe. I like it. Not too far from where your son lives.
I don't suppose you travel with your Feathercraft do you? Have you ever run it on the ICW? Spousal unit unsure the boats are compatible with marine environments. Would appreciate any thoughts you have on that.
For whatever we lose(like a you or a me) it's always ourselves we find in the sea
